People say that good things come to those who are patient, but for every South African or devoted Springboks fan, their patience has been filled with heart-pounding moments. Over the past two weeks, we've experienced nail-biting anxieties as we witnessed our team achieve miraculous victories in the eleventh hour.

We've come together through the power of sports, sharing experiences and emotions that we gladly immerse ourselves in alongside our indomitable Springboks. Whether we watch the matches from various locations on the weekends, we always bottle up our joy for Mondays where we release it in our workplaces, reliving moments of consuming anxiety.

As we anticipate the showdown between the Springboks and the All Blacks, after sending the English packing and humbly turning the host country into spectators, we proudly spot our green and gold colours, symbolizing our unwavering support as we propel the Springboks on their journey. With the echoes of history from four years ago in our minds, we hold onto hope that it will repeat itself. Let us maintain our sense of unity, join hands, form a strong scrum, and throw our full weight behind the Springboks as they strive to bring the victory home.

On our social media platforms, we confess to moments of despair as we foresee the seemingly insurmountable odds and the dwindling time left on the clock. Yet, we find hope rekindled by our optimistic friends who remind us that "It's not over until it's over." After all, our Boks have proven that a late bloomer bears the sweetest fruit.

Keep in mind that in the history of the World Cup tournament, New Zealand and South Africa stand out as the most accomplished teams, each with three World Cup victories to their name. Now, they are set to clash in a battle to determine who will clinch their fourth championship – let us be part of this epic moment.

At Image at Work, we continue to embrace the #BokFriday tradition by wearing green and gold on Fridays, a display of our pride and unwavering support for the Bokke!

Stronger Together!!!
